Anne E. Kort, PhD
Michigan Society of Fellows Postdoctoral Scholar
I am a functional morphologist studying the ecology and evolution of locomotion in mammals. I received my PhD in Geological Sciences from Indiana University in 2023 and am currently a postdoc with the University of Michigan Museum of Paleontology through a three-year fellowship with the Michigan Society of Fellows. I enjoy specimen-based research, and work with both paleontological and zoological collections. I am also excited by the potential of 3D data generated from museum specimens and created the Virtual Paleontologist YouTube channel to make this data more accessible.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you want to collaborate on research or just have a question about 3D data!
